POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2015
Is it possible to recreate the exhilaration and atmosphere of a live gig using concert movie footage? This May we launch a series of events to prove that immersive movie visuals can create thrilling ‘live’ experiences.
In 2006 the Beastie Boys handed out 50 cameras to audience members at their sold-out gig at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. Together, these 50 different perspectives make up the concert movie Awesome! I F***in’ Shot That .
Now for the first time in history, you are invited to travel back in time to experience that concert – live on film!
Stunning 5.1 surround sound and four projectors filling three massive walls with gig footage will make you feel you’re almost there. This is a wild journey deep inside the world of a live Beastie Boys show, capturing the exhilarating experience of a live musical performance.
WARNING! This experience will be loud. There will be no seats. This is a movie screening, but you’ve got to bring the energy of a gig.
